Netanyahu Objects to Palestinian State After War Ends

Alec Baldwin has been charged with involuntary manslaughter over a fatal movie set shooting in October 2021.

He had been rehearsing a scene for the western movie ‘Rust’ in New Mexico when the prop gun he was holding fired, killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.

Previous criminal charges against the actor were dropped last April, based on evidence that the gun’s hammer might have been modified allowing it to be shot without the trigger being pulled. 

Baldwin has maintained that he only drew back the hammer of the pistol.

‘I love to play hide-and-seek with my friends, but I do not want to hide at school’ — These kids did not hold back when telling Tennessee lawmakers how they feel about gun violence.

Tennessee students of all ages urged the state's lawmakers to take up sensible gun reform measures during a press conference at the state capitol on Jan 9 as their legislative session reconvened. 

The press conference was held by nonprofit org Rise and Shine Tennessee after 6 people were shot and killed at The Covenant School in Nashville. 

Despite lawmakers holding a special session over public safety in the wake of the shooting, no gun reform measures were passed.

Supreme Court Declines to Hear Groundbreaking Transgender Bathroom Case in Indiana

Footage in the northern Iraqi city of Irbil on Tuesday showed the extent of damage to properties in a villa compound after missiles hit the upscale area near the U.S. consulate.

Late on Monday, Iran announced it had launched strikes against a “spy headquarters and the gathering of anti-Iranian terrorist groups.”

The security council of the semi-autonomous Kurdish regional government said in a statement that at least four civilians were killed and six others were injured in the strikes.

In Iraqi security official said Irbil was targeted with “several” ballistic missiles but did not give further details.
