Speed flyer reaches eye watering speeds in low flight through rocky valley. Speed flying instructor, Jamie Lee, 30, captured footage whilst he sped through Ahuriri valley at speeds of up to 160 kilometres per hour flying his paragliding wing coming as close as a mere five centimetres from the rocky hillside at South Island, New Zealand. After a five am start to the day, climbing up the face of waterfalls to reach his launching point on Mount Calvin, Jamie took flight down through Ahuriri valley reaching eye watering speeds during the one minute and 50 seconds flight with tense moments as he comes very close to the rocks. Jamie said, “I have been speed flying for eleven years.
